Azada: Ancient Magic is an adventure and puzzlecasual game by French developer Big Fish Studios Europe, and distributed by Big Fish Games. The game is a sequel to Azada. The studio previously developed Azada as well as Mystic Inn and Atlantis Sky Patrol.
Gameplay[edit]
Azada: Ancient Magic consists of escape the room puzzles. Unlike the original Azada, every puzzle is spread over multiple pages of a book. The player must flip back and forth, picking items up and locating active areas on every page, and must figure out where and how to use the various items in order to further the puzzles. The game also features over 20 different minigames. Minigames were separated from escape-the-room puzzles in Azada; they are part of the escape the room puzzles in the sequel.[1]
Plot[edit]
Following the player-character's successful release of Titus in Azada, the hapless adventurer asks for help again. An ancient evil is about to break out from the library of Titus' Great-Uncle Argus.[1] Argus was a scholar who had originally acquired the book of Azada as well as powerful magical items from all over the world. The ancient evil has brought the books from the library to life and is masquerading as one of the characters in the books. Titus needs your help to identify and defeat the evil. As you, the player, solve puzzles in the enchanted books, the story of how the ancient evil came into Argus' life is revealed.

Azada: Ancient Magic is thematically similar to the first game in the franchise, Azada. It features magic and books brought to life by a spell. The game features pre-rendered puzzles and characters, and an original soundtrack performed by the Deutsche Film Orchestra. Using a live orchestra is rare in casual games, other examples are Hidden Expedition: Amazon and Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst.

Welcome to the Azada – Elementa QuickStart Guide! Azada – Elementa is a Hidden Object game in which you must collect items and explore locations in order to progress. The elemental mages of Azada have gone missing, and it’s up to you to find them! This game is a Platinum Edition title, as and such, includes an integrated walkthrough. The Azada – Elementa walkthrough can be accessed by clicking on the “Strategy Guide” button located in the lower left corner of the screen.
How to Play
Azada Games In Order
Are you new to hidden object titles? Have you simply forgotten some of the basics? Don’t worry! Here are a handful of helpful pointers to guide you in the right direction:
- All items you collect throughout your adventure will be added to your Inventory. Your inventory is located at the bottom of your screen. When you want to use and item, select the item you’d like to use from your inventory, then click on the location where you’d like to use it.
- When your cursor turns into a directional arrow, it means you can click to access a new area. Navigate by clicking when arrows appear to move between screens and locations.
- Azada – Elementa is a Hidden Object game, and as such, you will encounter Hidden Object Scenes! In these locations, a list of items you need to find will be displayed at the bottom of your screen. Locate all the items in this location in order to progress. Upon locating all the items successfully, a Key Item will be added to your Inventory!
- Key Items are items which are necessary in order for you to progress in the game. These items are stored in your inventory, and will automatically be removed once they have been used correctly.
- Feeling stuck? There’s a Hint button located in the bottom right corner of your screen. Hints tend to be unlimited, but often require time to recharge. Unable to solve a puzzle? The Hint button will become a Skip button during puzzles, but often requires time to charge up before use.
