Solution:

To resolve this issue follow the steps below:
  1. Download AutoCAD product installer using the Autodesk Virtual Agent (AVA), the Download Now method, or the Browser Download method.
  2. Install DirectX from the installer, open C:AutodeskAutoCAD_2016_English_Win_64bit_dlm3rdPartyDirectX and run DXSETUP.exe.
  3. Once DirectX installation completes, restart your system and follow AutoCAD installation as per General installation workflow for Autodesk Products.
If the problem continues:
  1. Upgrade the graphic drivers. Here is the link to a post on wikiHow regarding how to update your video card drivers.
Note: If you are running the latest graphic drivers, uninstall drivers, restart the computer and reinstall the graphic drivers.
  1. if the above suggestion doesn't help, back up C:AutodeskAutoCAD_2016_English_Win_64bit_dlmsetup.ini file (save it with a different name, e.g. original_setup.ini).
